This task’s goals are: 

• To refine and build pre-production task ambient daylighting systems; 
• To field test pre-production task ambient daylighting systems. 

  Building upon previously work funded by the CEC, it aims to develop a prototype system of intelligent task lights and luminaires to implement this concept. 
  This task will refine this system and reduce its cost by integrating low-cost sensors and communications from Task 2, and improve the user interface to adhere to the principles developed in Task 4.
